About Us
Welcome to the home of the Grand Rapids Python Users Group, or GRPUG for short. We're a friendly group of Python programmers and beginners in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. We meet every other Monday at Calvin College, and follow up the meetings with a get-together at a nearby brewpub. If you're an experienced Python programmer or just interested in learning about Python, come and get your Pyth on with us!
Our meetings usually take the form of a lecture or group programming exercise, depending on the topic of the night. All members are welcome to suggest topics and also present on selected topics. to become a member you must attend, in person, one of the meetings. Once you've done this, we'll create an account on the site for you and also give you access to the website source code repository.
We're using this brand spankin' new web site to learn us some Django and Google App Engine. Most of our activity is at the meetings or via the GRPUG Google Group.
